Ken Chalmers is an advisor to Paradigm Capital. He was an Executive Vice President of Continental Bank, Chicago, Illinois and its successor, Bank of America from 1984 through 1994. Over a span of 40 years with those organizations, he served in numerous capacities in the corporate banking sector. The last 10 years were spent as head of the Special Industries Department.

Chalmers is a Member of the Board of Managers of Learning Insights, LLC, a publisher of interactive multimedia training and reference products; Director of Profile Systems, LLC, a provider of wireless data communications services; Advisory Board Member of Magnify, Inc., a provider of scalable data mining solutions for managing, mining and analyzing large amounts of data; Director of Case Receivables II Inc., a financing vehicle of Case Credit Corporation; Director of Catholic Health Partners, a Chicago multi-hospital group, and Chairman of its Finance/Audit Committee; Vice Chairman and Member of the Executive Committee of St. Joseph Health Care Foundation; and serves on the Alumni Advisory Board of the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University.

Chalmers received his BSBA from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and his MBA from the University of Chicago. He served as a Lieutenant (jg) in the U.S. Navy.
